Windows 11 is available for all windows-based PCs

Windows 11 is the latest operating system available from Microsoft.

It offers a range of new features and improvements over Windows 10, and is available for free upgrade on most modern PCs.

However, before you rush to install it, there are a number of things you need to consider.

Thank the holy tech Lords then, for the existence of “Techcess”!

In this episode of the “Techcess” technology podcast, Mark Riddell speaks on behalf of the experts on the m3 Networks‘ “Techcess” team to update you on the pros and cons of Windows 11, and give you some advice on whether or not you should upgrade.

Is Windows 11 actually any better than Windows 10?

Windows 11 is Windows 10’s successor and offers a range of new features and improvements over Windows 10 while still remaining recognisable to most users.

However, before you rush to install it, there are a number of things you need to consider.

Windows 11 has had mixed reviews so far because there have been many reported bugs with Windows 11 which has led people to believe that Microsoft rushed it out too quickly.

As it happens, we weren’t actually expecting an update to Windows 10 because Microsoft themselves claimed there wouldn’t be one.

Exercise upgrade caution

So Windows 11 is something of a surprise, and it’s natural that people are a bit cautious about upgrading to it.

Microsoft has said that they have fixed the majority of the bugs in Windows 11, but as with any new operating system, there will inevitably be some teething problems.

In this episode, Mark himself explains how his own powerful rig has been red flagged as inappropriate for upgrading, according to the Windows upgrade checker tool (which you can download for free by clicking this link).

Should you upgrade to Windows 11 then?

Well, that’s exactly what this episode of the “Techcess” technology podcast is all about. By the end of listening to it, you’ll be fully informed of the risks of upgrading your PC with Windows 11, and you’ll hear Mark’s final verdict on whether you should at all.

If you do decide to upgrade to Windows 11, be sure to back up your files first as there is always a risk that something could go wrong during the installation process.
