A password manager can help protect you from hackers and keep your data safe.

On this episode of the “Techcess” podcast, we’re talking about password managers and the pros and cons of using them.

Mark Riddell, Managing Director at m3 Networks, talks us through whether it’s worth using just one master password to control access to all of your online accounts.

After listening to this episode, you’ll be able to make an informed decision about whether a password manager is right for your business.

And why password managers can be useful.

Oh, and if you’re not immediately convinced that protecting your email is of vital importance within your business, you might need to check out this previous episode of  the “Techcess” technology podcast.

What is a password manager?

A password manager is a software application that helps you store and manage your passwords. They’re usually password-protected, so only you can access your passwords.

Why are password managers useful?

Password managers are useful because they help you keep track of all your passwords in one place.

This makes it easier to keep your passwords safe and secure.

They’re also useful for managing multiple accounts, such as email, social media, and financial accounts.

Which is the best password manager?

There are a number of password managers on the market, but some of the most popular ones are “Last Pass”, “Nordpass” and “1 Password”.

They all do largely the same thing – helping you store and manage your passwords.

This software is password-protected, so only you can access your passwords.

Last Pass is popular because it’s easy to use and it has a lot of features. It also has a password recovery feature, which is useful if you forget your password.

If you’re looking for a password manager that is easy to use and has a lot of features, Last Pass is a good option.

What should a password manager be able to do?

The best password managers in 2022 will offer a variety of features, including:

  • password generation
  • password management
  • password synchronization
  • password sharing
  • password security
  • password auditing.

Last Pass calls this last one “Security Challenge”.

How much will a password manager cost me?

The different password managers vary in price, but are usually around £50 per year.
