From redundant to robust, we are thrilled that we will be celebrating our 10th birthday this Sunday, 18th of August 2019! It has been 10 years of hard work, and although there have been a few bumps on the road, we believe it has made us stronger than ever.
In 2009, m3 Networks started out as three colleagues made redundant due to a business closure. Mark Lamb, Mary Brodie, and Mark Riddell decided to set out on their own journey. m3 was formed the day after leaving their previous employer; they believed they could build something great, and here we are!
After 10 years in business, 5 office moves, hundreds of clients later, and now a team of 11, our founders sat down and discussed what 10 years of success means to them.Continue reading
At m3, we do not just routinely handle any IT issues our clients have; their feedback and reviews mean a lot to us. For this reason, we implemented SmileBack. SmileBack is a tool which allows our customers to leave a review for every interaction they have with our help desk, good or bad. Our dedicated help desk technicians work hard to keep up our good reviews; and it shows. Our current percentage of positive scores on SmileBack is over 99%, with us having raked in thousands of reviews. Ruth Lamont and Jay Mace, two of our many amazing technicians have both managed to reach their 1000th reviews! This is certainly no easy task – read on to find out how they feel about this achievement.Continue reading
Following the success of our previous Cyber Security Breakfast in Dundee, on the 17th of July we had another Cyber Security Breakfast in Perth. The event was in partnership with the Royal Bank of Scotland, and we had the pleasure of hosting a range of attendees, both current clients and non clients. Some of who were already on the cyber security path, and some who were completely new to the idea.Continue reading
World Backup Day is an event on the technology calendar setup to raise awareness and to remind us all about the importance of backing up our data. Everyone of us knows why we need to backup. The reality is that many businesses do not have a reliable backup system in place that is sufficient to be able to recover their data in a disaster.
Perth based IT support company, m3 Networks, has announced it is on plan to support over 1000 PCs by the end of the year, leading to new job creation and further expansion of their premises in Perth.
Supporting 110 locations for 89 different businesses, m3 Networks currently employs a team of 9 people and has ambition to become the biggest IT support company in Scotland over the next 10 years. Their biggest client has already rolled out use of their services at all 14 of their sites across the UK and the Perth-based IT support company is already signing up cost-savvy London customers who are taking advantage of technological advances to source their IT support from outwith the M25.
It’s been a great year so far here at m3. Our Helpdesk continues to get busier and busier. We’re always onboarding new customers which means more technicians are needed to keep your IT systems running smoothly.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce the latest new recruits to the m3 team. Joining our Helpdesk as 1st Line Support Technicians is Craig Reid and Ruth Lamont.
We’re delighted to finally launch our brand spanking, super-duper, shiny new website! It’s been a while coming. Our last one had been running for more years than I can remember. The feedback we received was always positive though, so it served it’s purpose.
Since our last website we have grown a lot as an outsourced IT support provider. We’ve moved to larger premises. We’ve employed more staff. We have vehicles. We’re continuing to offer new IT support services to customers. The time was right to launch a new-look website. It is much cleaner, brighter, and the content fills more of the screen. It is so much easier to read.
We all think it looks awesome. Please leave a comment and let us know what you think?
